So the michelins are already proving a sound investment as the fuel economy has noticeably improved. I got almost 150 miles on 1/4 of a tank where before I was getting about 120. Tyre noise is gone, but now I'm hearing a lot more obvious wind noise and noise from the body and transmission. It isn't new, just that previously it was all drowned out by tyre noise. 2011 110 USW

That's really interesting. I'm running MTR's at the moment and whilst I'm happy with their performance (in rain, snow, etc), I'm conscious that they're bloomin' noisy. I'm likely going to change them later in the year, along with a wheel change, to something more road biased and bit a more MPG will be welcome. Darren

Next time I fill up I will see just what difference they have made. I still think it looks a little sorry for itself on the plain wheels, but they are practical. I should get much less muck up the side of the body now too. 2011 110 USW

Yeah, the Wolfs do give it that extra 'something'. Darren

Absolutely. If the KMs ever wear out I reckon I will pop some 235 road bias tyres on them and get best of both worlds. 2011 110 USW

I'm not really big on bolt on goodies but I did fancy some military bumpers. Utter sod to fit as access to the inside of the rear cross member is terrible, but did manage it in the end.

They look great. I always think that having something on the rear corners is a good idea, if only to give a bit of bump protection to the lights. Darren

The new tyres are quiet and smooth compared to the BFGs, but the increase in fuel economy was not so great as I anticipated. I need to do a few more miles to get a better impression I think. 2011 110 USW

Last couple of fill ups are showing an increase to around 32mpg, up from the 27ish I was getting before. Not bad. 2011 110 USW
