Hi it’s a bit dark now but I will get some and upload them when I get in tomorrow evening, he only lives a 5 minute walk away 👍 regarding a 100 inch special it’s something I very nearly did back in 2008 with an early one of these but ended up putting the 200tdi in my series 2 which is still going now and the chassis I couldn’t even give away it didn’t have a spot of rust on it either I ended up weighing it in, to be honest with you I think this could make a good resto it’d be a shame to scrap the body Paul. Ps the number plate was a connection with the previous owner who was a figure in the Vincent owners club hence HRD

I’ll hang my head in shame - I chopped up a Range Rover Classic for my Tornado build but kinda salve my conscience in that the body was absolutely minging with the panels being sold to others to keep others going, the sills didn’t have enough metal to set off a speed trap and the inside was part kennel, part rotten seats and part shed...
I kid you not...worryingly, we found an empty quarter scotch bottle and (unused) 12 bore cartridges when we stripped it... However, to the point... There are less and less 3 door Discoveries around and this needs to be saved - looking at it, most of the critical bits are there and, to be fair, look to be in good condition. Arles Blue wouldn’t my choice but hopefully someone will snap this up for a long-term classic... |

Arles and Windjammer are the same colour, just given different names at different times. Darren
