Yes it is indeed. Mines very handy. I just wish they had moulded the spacers in the back that they needed, rather than having them seperate. Some numpties took it down when replacing the windscreen and now one of them is a) not attached and b) rattling around up there. North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader

Humm. For sheet materials its definitely good. I use mine for my VHF radio in the Din slot primarily. On my drivers side I have my sapper hat and a pair of general gloves and they just squeeze in. A normal beanie fits in fine. On the other side I have some other detritus and it all stays present and correct and doesn't fall out. Im also mounting a map light up there and a torch holder and a few other bits and bobs.

Only disadvantage is that there really isn't much space to the edges, and where the narrower side sections exist, there is very little height so only good for stuff sub 15mm high.

Fitting is easy until you try and drill the door pillars which are a f**cking nightmare. Make sure you dont drill your washer pipe as well.

I did like the look of the australian ones which are much more utilitarian and are more of a head height cubby. (As seen here)http://www.consoles.com.au/Rover_LandDefender_deep.htm however by the time I've paid for it and got one over here, its somewhat not worth it and the mud one is much more stylish and "factory looking" North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader
