Thanks for the comments. Hopefully it is priced right in what seems to be quite a volatile market.

Thanks all for the positive comments . I was unsure on how much to price it at.
With almost zero interest, perhaps its a bit steep so have reduced the price by £2k to hopefully tempt some buyers. New price of £35,500 ONO All sensible offers will be considered. |

Hi fella if you dont mind and as long as your not breaking any confidences could you post how much you sell yours for as it might give a sign to where the market is (via pm if you want) as yours is a great truck and is top end of the market, but there are many low milage trucks knocking about not being sold because sellers think the market is higher than where it is and dont want to sell as they think someone else is getting more.If you can get 24000 for a top knotch 15 year old defender yours must be mid 30'S plus dont you think?

The market must be very slow as I have had no interest as of yet. Even with a £2k price drop.

I think it's at the top end of the price range for a private sale, a dealer may be able to achieve your asking price but they will offer all the benefits including a warranty to a potential buyer.
I've got a very similar Defender, 2015 XS Hardtop with premium leather and a few other bits and pieces but with only 9.000 miles covered and if I was selling it privately I'd probably pitch it around the 32/33K mark (with no VAT to add). I'd look at bringing your price nearer to that level. Click image to enlarge 2015 Defender 90XS HT |
