Koni heavy track (NOT RAID) setup for 110 SW
Hi all,
i own a 110 td4 SW 7 seats with in front a warn 9.5 winch, I've recently instelled a full set of koni heavy track (not the raid on) dampers. Wen I've installed it i did not change the damping force of the dampers but i've kept the one the have been set up by factory.

Now seems that the front shocks damping force is quite good while the rear shocks one seems to be a bit weak as i feel that the rear springs expand way to fast making the rear axel ride a bit harsher than the front one.

Do you know if there is optimum set up for a car like mine?

It's a common issue...
Here's my solution: https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic49065...oilsprings
Like you say, the Koni's help, but they are not the total solution, the springs are just too hard (in my opinion) when lightly-loaded... Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

I find very hard to tune/match std tri-rate springs with shock abs. I spent a lot of time tunning both compression and rebound on my fox dampers and I got to the point where Im ok with the riding. Probably the best damper is the big koni raid. On those you can play with the rebound force.

NB. Fox now have a specific shock abs for the Defender. Puma 110" SW
