Got this invite
We at Jaguar Land Rover are keen to hear the views of our customers. We want to understand your opinions about the future of Land Rover's vehicles. We intend to run a market research event that takes the form of a car clinic which will consist of looking at some new vehicle prototypes and giving your feedback on them. DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS, I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

Nice one. Sure you will see the Defender, but the input for it was all done years ago and the prototypes being seen are for signing off the product before production starts.
You may well be going to see the stuff that's coming after the new Defender Instagram: L90andy My 1984 Ninety: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic56071.html - SOLD! My 2015 Defender: http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic39625.html - SOLD! |

I suspect this. Considering you're a Defender owner, they may be trying to ease you into their other models by letting you feel like you can bring some "Defenderness" to them |

That front bumper is almost enough to make the later MGBs with the rubber bumpers look attractive

Yep, that's near to top of the list for changing!!!
It looks worse because of the perspective of the photo, but for sure it isn't a thing of beauty! Handy as a picnic table I guess As it's a Jeep there are loads of aftermarket options, but mostly in the USA at the moment with it being a new version. Hopefully the UK specialists will start to ramp up their stocks of goodies soon. |

no wonder there appears to be so much traffic on the roads these days - with bumpers like that it turns one car into 1 and a half cars ie 50% more traffic on the roads without even putting anymore traffic on the roads ! |

I think that that bumper would have many uses.
You could stand on it to reach high places. You could lay out your tools on it when working on the vehicle (only the vehicle is probably reliable so won't need work). You could put your shopping on it while you unlock the vehicle and load it. And no doubt many other things as well. It will also let people you are visiting know that you'll be arriving soon. |
