I just bought a cheap britpart replacement. Works a treat. Having said that I could have just detected the locking mechanism.
Let me know if you require the part number.

If you find you need to access with a key then am i right in assuming you keep a working lock on the rear door?

It's just the front doors that you de-lock, am I understanding correctly?

rather than change the handles is there an option just to fill the locks with superglue or something?

cheers lads for confirming! I am going to replace the handles with alu ones, rather than plastic jobbies, Make it even harder this time.
