Changing Brake Hoses
In the small print on the TDCi maintenance check sheet "It is recommended" it says: At 48,000-mile intervals or every four years whichever is the earlier, all hydraulic caliper seals, flexible hoses and brake servo filter should be renewed.

I've never heard of a manufacturer saying you should replace brake hoses every four years or 48,000.

Is that something you should do??

You should check them for any signs of cracks or perishing. When you have a MoT they check for this anyway. Thumbs Up
