On Autotrader and Ebay now at reduced price, but will let go at £29k with all the extras to a fellow forum member if anyone is interested.

No enquiries from Autotrader, eBay or here
Do you think I have priced it too high? Or is it just a bad time for selling? It looks good value compared to other low mileage XS's that are for sale, but I guess they aren't selling either. Would it be better to put it back to standard specification and sell the winch, wolf's, grille separately? Or sit tight and wait? |

To be honest I think it would be best to put back to standard spec for selling. 2016 Defender Landmark 90

Big problem is not the price but finding someone with £29k sitting in the bank.
Most big car purchases are on finance When I sold the last 3 I did to trade at a good price for a speedy no hassle transaction. |

I'll be blunt, it's way too high! I sold a 61 reg very similar last year for £13500 and have just bought a standard xs 110 on a 14 reg in black for £18000 Put it on eBay no reserve and you'll find out what it's worth. |

You've priced it the same as comparable models from dealers: https://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_from=R4...mp;_sop=16
This one is cheaper from a dealer, also price reduced and with similar mileage https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/2012-Land-Rover...3298136153 You can't offer what a dealer/trade can (warranty, finance, etc.) so yours looks a worse deal. Also your ebay ad doesn't have high-res images. You may get a buyer, but it's how long you want to wait in a marketplace of sellers that do it as a day job. Hope that helps. |

As above, you can't expect to get what a dealer can ask.
Whenever I've sold on Autotrader or Ebay I've priced midway between trade and retail along with a clear detailed description backed up by as many pictures of the interior and exterior as I can. I've always managed to sell reasonably easily. 2015 Defender 90XS HT |

The closest thing that has sold privately recently on ebay was a 2011 with 54k miles. It was advertised at £21500.
I'd be taking the winch / bumper off and putting the original alloys back on, wolfs are great but to the untrained eye look like old steel wheels.... |

All good points. Thanks.
I think I'll drop the price and see if that generates any more interest. If not, I'll then strip all the extras off and advertise as a standard vehicle and look to sell all the items that I removed separately. |

As others say I would definitely return it to base spec . I sold one 18 months ago , when the winch and steels were fitted I didn’t have a single bite . Popped the boosts back on , took the winch off and boom , sold for the asking price . 2007 110xs 100,000 miles , sold for 16k. Yours is clearly worth more ! https://www.instagram.com/hustynminepark/

Yeh the wheels and bumper suggest Off Road to me, a set of boosts, conties and standard bumper say not messed with. And you will get some money back on those bits DEFENDER 90 TDCI XS,
I hope everyone is well and your land rovers make you happy |

Click image to enlarge I fully agree with the last comment and i'm sure you would soon sell them or part ex on this site I personally took the winch and bumper off mine along with the roof rack as i don't now really do off roading and i didn't want the very noisy roof rack nice as itall looked and i was consered as how much extra fuel it would use considering the weight and adding to the already bad areo dynamics but i know someone out there will love it as it is if you persivere someone will have it Click image to enlarge |
