So my 2015 Utility, despite being XS spec, cannot come with carpets.
As such i was going to get the following from LRI... They look pretty good, was just posting in case anyone had any experience of either or in case it was of interest to anyone else http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/331556702438?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/231733363587?_tr...EBIDX%3AIT Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

I've got the LRi rear SS strip, very good.
Got the front sills in brushed SS. They are good though. |

Also worth having a look at YRM for the s/s threshes:
http://www.yrm-metal-solutions.co.uk/epage...r_90/Sills I haven't (yet) bought the YRM threshes, however I have bought a few s/s nuts and bolts from them which are graded to the equivalent of high tensile steel which is important when replacing anything likely to be under stress. Also note the well-reported issues regarding dissimilar metals and the need to apply paste etc. I have the rear s/s threshold with new rubber seal from SP Landrovers and it is so much better than the original. Cheers, Will |

David - From 4x4 Overlander (Brendan) above.
Not sure if they were sold as brushed as such but I am glad they have that effect. They aren't polished to a chrome shine that will obviously scratch. YRM's are good but are more polished, okay for the rear door for me but not the front due to location and likely scratches from shoes and grit etc. Also as Brendan say's above there is the anti corrosion paste supplied also. Not sure YRM does but it's useful, also anti seize as well. |

Here's a photo fitted:
Click image to enlarge Very good they are too, mine need just a little more tightening as it's a tight fit to the door rubber at the bottom so tends to make the door bounce a little on the latch instead of closing. So you need to shut it a bit harder. That's because I've got rubber and Dynamat under there though.. |

Look good Brendan... Would you happen to have any pics of them fitted to a 110 please... Excuse my ignorance, but is any drilling necessary for fitment... Rog... The GREEN One... MY2016 Urban Truck Build Thread - http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40548....al[/color] |

Rog - Not that I can remember, possibly one hole each side. Other than that easy fit.
Sprayed some ACF50 under there if I remember yo for extra peace of mind. I fitted them this year (2015) in about April / may ish. I notice on the YRM link there appears to be the two vertical matting / carpet retainers - I don't have those as I'd rather keep standard black as it looks a bit blinded up too much of it. The OE black one's there never cause an issue anyway... So yes, I have Brendan's front sills and YRM rear door. Not sure if Brendan does the rear one too? but if he does if I was to buy again I'd buy from him that too. YRM are nice but as I said, no corrosion paste and more polished.p David - Thank-you, pleased with them myself too. |

As always, thanks for the useful and helpful pointers Steve. Like you, I would prefer the less blingy and less easily scratched product. Looks like I shall be contacting Brendan when I get my January pocket money (December's money is already spent!). (Sorry Brendan, I missed the items when looking at your website - maybe I should use my pocket money for new glasses!). My rear threshold (from SP who are up this way) is 'brushed' and gets lots of traffic. It looks fine and will certainly not end up like its predecessor....... I have the paste and the ACF50 at the ready! All the best for the New Year. Will |
