Hiya All
If you don't already know, I am the owner of Blackbox Solutions who also produces and supplies the much reknowned and respected Nanocom Evolution. I have noticed that there has been quite a bit of interest recently posted on a previous and now quite old Nanocom Evolution Group buy thread. https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic47160-105.html The good news is that the Boss here has most gratiously green lighted me and respectfully, as a benefit to forum members, allowed me to step in and help out, not to take anything away from the commendable effort made and offered by DieselDriver but more to assist. So here it is 
I am willing to offer a 20% discount on the purchase price of our Nanocom Evolutions to participants of this Group buy event, which is actually less than what they would sell for second hand if you were so lucky to ever find a one being sold. The only requisites are that this is based on a bulk purchase rate that although to get a 20% discount, normally requires a minimum of 20 kit's I am willing to initiate on the basis of a list of just 12 Interested members which is based on my belief and experience that once started, more will join in and make up the numbers I am sure someone a bit more capable and experienced than myself will help with a sign up list. please note that signing up on this list is non commital, althought I would appreciate some genuine interest only aspect. Respectfully, a 20% discount on a Nanocom Evolution does not leave much meat, if any, on the bone for us and as such is not something we freely or readily offer. But we would rather have our well known and respected Nanocoms in the hand of appriciative users and owners spreading the good word. Their site seems to have 2 versions 2007 to 2012 and 2012 to 2014.

I am not quite sure exactly where you are looking Swine&Small and if you found something that needs updating, I would be happy to learn more and correct that. Maybe you can drop me a PM with some links etc
To summerise the nanocom Covers Defenders up to 2016, but please note, as stated it does not cover the 10AS Alarm after 2014 from VIN EA000001. To hopefully clarify and answer a few of the general questions raised and also provide a little more information for anyone who, despite it's standing of many years, is somehow not that familiar with the Nanocom. The Nanocom has its own web site at https://www.nanocom-diagnostics.com/ On the Nanocom sites Shop there are 2 Kits listed for Defenders NCOM01 for TD5 engined models. NCOM03 for Puma Defenders with both 2.4 and 2.2 Litre Puma engines. The Nanocom is well known for its extensive Diagnostic capabilities and functions that also includes a rather unique Instrument Mode in which you can record Engine data in real time and then replay it back with our free CSV viewer software. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AukR8icbK1M These Kits normally cost £328.06 but with a 20% discount come to £262.40 plus of course the dreaded VAT and shipping. Shipping costs may initially raise an eybrow for those used to only local purchases, but is something we are always praised for in respect of such a quick and professional door to door service that includes a 4000 mile flight. With any Nanocom Kit, you can also add additional unlock codes for other covered vehicle models / Engine Types and obtain the same Discount. This is why they are also listed seperately. The Nanocom is not Locked to VIN and so can be used on any Vehicle(s) it is unlocked for. All capability and functionality provided by the Nanocom for each ECU is also very clearly and extensively detailed in the help documentation that is provided on the Nanocom web site. ATB Colin |
