Fuel pump in tank? Has the BMW engine the same? Or with the same power/pressure? The same with diesel filter. "Drobek" = The Small One - Discovery 2, "Blufínek" = The Blue Thing - Defender 130, and for me at least Ford Mondeo

Harness adapter for BMW
Throttle pedal from Mini D in terms of ecm - is it that straight forward? or will the ecm side of things make this almost impossible? good luck whatever and look forward to seeing progress in due course |

Wow, I would guess the wiring would be the biggest hurdle with this, I know how complex they can be, good luck and very interested in your project, they are a cracking engine.

Good luck with the project, it will be amazing. |

Yes they are a strong powerful engine, I run a 435d everyday and it’s fast and economical. Some clever person should be able to sort out the EWS and harness, I did install a M52 motor in an old E30 and had a harness and ECU made to delete the alarm and immobiliser, keep the updates coming and have a look on facebook where loads of guys are doing M57 conversions into defenders.
