Signed up for this as well. I think it also ties in with the Classic Car day at Kielder on the Sunday.

It does tie in with the classic car day on the Sunday, which of course people are welcome to come to.
On the Saturday as well as the Land Rover convoy there will be a classic car run starting and finishing at the castle and a classic tractor run, they will be using a different part of the forest to us. The response after posting this last night has been great, looks like there are going to be plenty of Def2 members there Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Ian Do you know if camping is available for people doing the LR run and want to stay over for the car show on Sunday?

Yes there definitely will be, we are just tying up a few loose ends but will probably be in the region of £6 per pitch per night, as people will be able to camp on Friday and Saturday night. As soon as I have firm details I will post them Cheers Ian -------------------- 22MY Defender 110 D200 SE, Fuji White. Kielder 4x4 Safari Instagram @defender_v8 |

I was planning on going to the vehicle show the next day, so will try and attend the run on the Saturday too.

This looks like a good day out.
I know it is classed as tame, but a quick question: As I have spent a lot of time and money getting my Landy how i like it, I am not keen on getting into deep water etc so it comes in through the doors etc. Can anyone let me know if this will not be the case, and its more of a gentle drive through what looks to be a stunning landscape. Many thanks. |

Hi Chris, I'm jointly organising the event and have driven the route last weekend, I can say it's your second choice in that it's more of a gentle drive through a stunning landscape. There aren't any tricky sections etc just a gentle drive with hopefully 100 other Land Rovers Cheers Ian
