Thanks ^.
I have Laser Triple R's on the transit and the output from them is impressive so I knew I would miss the ST4's in the grille i recently sold. The equivalent linear unit to the transit lights are the Linear 12 15" so I am adding 2 of them to the rack. https://www.lazerlamps.com/linear-12.html Click image to enlarge Andy 2014 Fuji 110 SW LS3 https://www.defender2.net/forum/post751233.html#751233 2014 Corris 110 SW http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic40056.html My old Xtech 90 build.. http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic15681.html LS3 V8 build... http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic49051.html |

There is no difference in light output/beam with the ST4s mounted behind a mesh grille and it makes them a bit more stealth

Got on to the new lights this evening.

I've just sat and read this entire thread and all I can say about it is that its been absolutely awesome.
That V8 sounds gorgeous and I bet you're going to have some fun at the traffic light grands prix. slightly, I'm amazed the quality you're getting out of your 3D printer - I have one and I've tended to use it in speed-over-quality mode so quality's not been good enough for in-cab exposure - have done the switch bezel thing on last vehicle but time for me to rethink, especially if I want to put something in my forthcoming L663 Steve N | 21MY Defender | 08MY Discovery 3 (history) | 06MY Discovery 3 (ancient history) |

Went for a drive today. Better brakes on my granny’s bike so must get them firmed up in the morning but apart from that all seems well. Going to bring her home tomorrow. Andy

Managed to get hold of a 14” version. It helps just living down the road from twisted! Does the front boss just pull off or is there a knack to it? I don’t want to end up chewing up one of the edges. |

Have to say my favourite part of the drive was the new steering wheel, better that the startech.
Yes a wee spray of oil onto the splines, let it sit and a gentle tap should free it up. Good to have it back home. Have the first 100 miles run in and so far so good. Brakes are getting better, slight rattle from exhaust on the mud flap bracket but i was expecting that. Need to adjust the gearbox cable to get tiptronic to engage.
I got the front cubby lid printed so I can now get them covered, although I might leave it a while in case I think of something else I might add... Also fitted the rear seat heater switches, same place as before. Not actually hooked them up yet. I think I am going to make a nice wee fuse board under the rear cubby, keep all the LS loom, modules etc in the main battery box and then the other bits I add all back in the rear. Andy
