Some more progress. Fabricated brackets to get the puma aircon unit onto the LS, new pipe work will need tweaked alittle.
Click image to enlarge New rear prop Click image to enlarge New eibach front ARB and polybushes and GW turrets Click image to enlarge We then turned our attention to the gear selector. With the bottom cut and sanded flat with some tweaking it’s mounted to the gearbox hatch with the Chevy ecu fixed behind. The ecu loom can then travel up nicely through the old gear stick rubber. Connected up the linkage and very happy with the setup. Myself and Ged have both been very busy with work so haven't been at the 110 much. After turning over a few stones Duckworths manged to get me the last set of factory Recaros to use in the rear. I don't plan to go mad with this one retrimming so I am happier to have the 4 seats as factory and then just the new cubbies covered and a few but of dash to match.... Driving over next Tuesday to delivery my seats to a member here, collect these and also collect the rest of the remaining parts, cooling & exhaust etc.

Does the base lift out of the original ones? Searching for my first Defender...and started just as Covid hit, so talk about timing.
5 months after starting the search I found it, and here is the details |

Yes, the factory has a different base to normal CS recaros. Clips in and out like the tradition seats. I had given up getting a second set after trying to buy a few sets on eBay but sellers never responded to me. By the time I would have bought 4 standards and retrimmed them the cost isn’t much different, that’s my man maths kicking in there. Andy
