Got a deal sorted with a member here to take the twisted sport wheels so made a start taking them off to get the tyres removed. New wheels don’t use centres so will give me a chance to tidy things up.
Click image to enlarge Also ordered a few upgrades for the conversion, larger cooler with twin fan although the one below has 4!. My last LS3 never ran hot but I was never really using it much under pressure but I have other plans for this one so would rather have it covered. And then the small oil and gearbox cooler, last install was just a single, and then the twisted air box which just takes the filter into the wing behind the headlight like the works 70th. It’s a custom rad. Much deeper as a lot of space in front of the LS. Don’t have a pic of the intake yet. Andy

Very interested in the Twisted Air box. Can't wait to see more. Only decent air box I've seen is the nugget one but that's crazy money even when compared to twisted prices.

Fairly certain Twisted still use the standard airbox for diesels. The cone filter arrangement is just for the LS3. If they did make a bespoke airbox for tdci it would cost a helluvalot more than the Nuggetstuff.
If you don't want to splash out on the Nuggetstuff then modify your airbox and fit a larger hose. WARNING. This post may contain sarcasm. |

New wheels arrived today. I seen these up close when i was over collecting the LS parts and they differ a lot more that i thought to the sport wheel. Also got the 28" storage shelf from them and a few other bits so plenty to keep me occupied when i am child minding during our circuit breaker fire fighting lockdown.

Got the wheels fitted, very happy, just had to order a few M16x1.5 bolts and some spare black wheel nuts to fill the unused holes on the spare to tidy it up. Also fitted the storage shelf in the rear.

Some general messing about today. Rear cubby is the standard one from the front but it’s a bit tight between the two rear recaros. Twisted do a narrow one but I think it looks a bit too small so decided to reduce it. Also going to have the sub underneath. Like the way it looks like the cubby is floating and also reduced the cup holder insert. Then fitted some wheel nuts to unused holes on the spare with some M16x1.5 bolts.
