My 2004 TD5 is remapped and has the EGR deleted. For a while it also had a decat pipe but the CAT is fitted now. The idle has always been perfect hot or cold and it never chugs, even after extended idling.

Think i might put a new coolant temperature sensor on and a Valeo crank sensor and see if it helps at all. My cylinder balances are pretty good:
