They certainly look like the right ones.
When I changed over to one piece shafts recently, I also replaced the bolts with galvanised, 10.9 cap head bolts and matching spring washers, all torqued to 65Nm. Oh, and new paper gaskets. All of those bits came from eBay for a few pounds. I strongly recommend taking an enhanced version (HD) from a quality manufacturer. Otherwise the shafts will wear quickly again... |

@LandroverAnorak...
Yours looks like a 110? were they genuine LR shafts or aftermarket ones? If so, what ones did you go for? (90 & 110 are different strength I believe)... |

They're genuine ones. I was lucky enough to find a bargain on eBay. Darren

Hi. I have another thread going on this but it’s all the same thing really. This is intereting stuff and what I need to know is there any reason why I shouldn’t buy the Britpart one piece half shafts for my 2015 90. Just used normally on the roads etc... has anyone broken these units supplied by britpart ? Are they known to be weaker ? Thanks for any help 👍 2015 90 XS Santorini Black

Thanks all.
I think I’ll go down the Britpart route. For my use, they should be fine and a whole lot better than the currrnt ones that have done 90k miles as far as I know...! Am I right innsaying it’s a straight swap, unbolt, slide out and new ones in? No oil etc is going to come out etc?! |

In the pictures above, I jacked up one side at a time and didn't loose any oil. It's a very easy job. Just make sure that the gasket mating faces are clean and that the bolts are torqued up correctly. Darren

I think the only problem is that they haven't been around for very long so there's very little info to go on yet. Darren 110 USW BUILD THREAD - EXPEDITION TRAILER - 200tdi 90 BUILD THREAD - SANKEY TRAILER - IG@landroveranorak "You came in that thing? You're braver than I thought!" - Princess Leia |

I think the only problem is that they are supplied by Britpart! They'll probably have five bolt-holes instead of six, or 23 splines instead of 24, or be an inch too long, at least if my (thankfully and intentionally limited) experience of Britpart is anything to go by.
I still can't forgive them for the hub nut that destroyed my stub axle. |

Why not just put in a pair of 300tdi disco half shafts? Most breakers wil have stacks of the things at next to nothing, My 08 Puma has had them for years with no issues and complete lack of driveshaft backlash |

Doh! I meant to say "six holes not five". That went well! |

I have been running britpart ones since June and have done approx 5000 miles including a few hundred towing. I can thoroughly recommend them. They have transformed the driving.
