If you are feeling handy it is incredibly easy to make your own out of some box steel. All you need is some 40mm box steel off eBay, hack saw, a drill, 4 nuts and bolts and some black paint. 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

Since you are not a million miles away from our warehouse in Halifax, why not pop across and see what 4x4overlander has to offer.

I have a couple of sets of the Mud UK ones, at 6'1" with longish legs and a few pies under the hood it is one of the best things to do to a car, my legs are comfortable and my belly isn't chafing the wheel. Only really works in a vehicle with no internal bulkhead, but in my two 110SW it is magic. ---

I've a set of unwanted Mudrails in the garage. They're your's for £25 plus postage.
They've been used for nearly 10 years. No longer needed as I was able to modify the new seat to move it back without rails (I wanted extra head room). They're a bit marked, but nothing that affects their function. Let me know if you'd like a photo (PM would be best). They're highly recommended if you have the standard seats. |

I've used and been very happy with Mud rails.

I would have to partially disagree. When I still had a full bulkhead I used the Mud rails to give me more leg space and then later used the Mud Bulkhead bar to reduce the height of the bulkhead to give me more recline so that now I have the best of both. Just using rails with a full size bulkhead is definitely an improvement but to get the full benefit - the bulkhead needs to at least be reduced in height. Phil |

I have fitted seat extender rails - they are great. However be aware that they raise the seat height as well.
I believe that Leed's rails have less effect on height if this might be an issue for you. The raised seat height has never been a problem for me though. |

Standard seat rails risers raise front and back of the seat by about 30mm and allow 50 mm movement further backwards.
4x4overlander do both the standard type seat rails and the low line type. Lowline raise front of the seat by about 5mm and the back by about 30mm and allows 50 mm movement further backwards. Now I have never really notice back of seat being raised by about 25mm with respect to the front. If anyone experiences front of seat base catching back of thighs this type of seat rail might help. With standard seat rails there is 30mm less space between thighs and steering wheel. If of larger thigh statute then smaller steering wheel will help as they are typically 2”/50mm smaller in diameter. HTH Brendan |

I’ve got a set of mud rails going spare. In great used condition. No bolt to attach the rails. Though easily sourced.
Available for a 35.00 donation to the def2 site. As postage is considerable due to weight. [imc]https://www.defender2.net/gallery/albums/userpics/21416/normal_813E1FD8-90B4-4961-84BF-26C632884CC2.jpeg[/img] |
