Puma revs to 1000rpm on its own?
Hi guys, I have recently changed my transfer case on my puma 90 2.4, which i also changed the speed sensor and the 3 wires. After i plugged the new speed sensor in, the defender seems to rev on its own to 1000rpm after releasing clutch and when coming to a stop. If I unplug the speed sensor, the over rev stops. does it have to do something with anti-stall?

Much appreciate your help. if anyone had the same experience on their puma.

Idle Jack keeps it at 1100rpm in 1st and rev in low. Maybe it's rewired wrong and thinks it's in low? Cheers

+1 that sounds exactly like when the TB is in low range... FIXED! the high/low switch was disconnected closed circuit so it was thinking it is in low range.
