When I checked my local store yesterday, there were 38 in stock but now they're all gone. I think it's just a case of a well publicised deal rather than a conspiracy theory. Sorry guys. I was'nt perpetuating a myth, honest. There was a whole pile of them in the store I went in (Hartlepool) so I presumed they were well-stocked everywhere.

When Screwfix has an offer, the stuff flies off the shelf like free money and you have to be really quick.
These lights are also usually available from Screwfix's partner company, B&Q, but I don't know at what price. I bought a couple from B&Q on offer about this time last year albeit (without the tripod) for around £20 each. Amazingly the chargers haven't broken yet, and they are moderately useful. It must be said that the Milwaukee version is superior in every respect, but it is a little more expensive! https://www.screwfix.com/p/milwaukee-m18sa...ight/933FP |

Blackwolf, if that's not a case of diminishing returns, that light must be stellar!

I tried to get one of these the day I got the offer. Not available anywhere, so I complained. Their response...
“Thank you for your email regarding our latest mailing. I would like to assure you that a full stock assessment was carried out before the offers started and there was sufficient stock available. However, due to the very good deals on offer, we have encountered a phenomenal response which has resulted in the stock clearing very quickly. I apologise for any disappointment caused.
