New toys arrived :)
Now all I've gotta do is get stuck..... We had to go with a larger pulley block because of the wire diameter on the turfor, it looks a lot more sturdy than the small ones.

I imagine that it's obvious to the world, but being a half Frenchman it pleases me that the name of the winch wittily means 'pull hard' and that's exactly what it does. 'Warn' is such an unimaginative product name.

Serious bit of uncomplicated kit Thumbs Up I like Mr. Green I wonder if you can get them second hand from Blanchards or similar from the Army (probably a bit knackered after the boys have hauled a few bridges with them Rolling Eyes)

On the 9th of July me and my dad are at LR Experience all day doing recovery training so i'll get some pictures then Smile

you probably can get the second hand one.. i woudnt be susprised if companies referbish old ones and sell them on Smile

THe only version I saw whilst serving was the the Tirfor 35. ie 3T lift 5T pull. These were big bits of kit and a bit unwieldy to use. And hard work to operate when under full load 110 D250 SE HT
