Anyway will be with the dealers on Thursday for the parking brake recall and to change the clutch master cylinder. (I should prepare my pocket I think ) Error was P0401. Cheers Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |

Update.
After clean the fault codes yesterday morning the MIL has not appeared again (As I was afraid), so probably was a false positive (I hope). The motor are running equal than before and the squecks when you turn off the engine are there. Thanks war pig for the comment, the photo was taken in the north of Chile near an astronomic observatory. Cheers! Finally and after looking several alternatives I bought this cheap piece http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B002PYBZJO The provided software can erase the error codes stored in the ECU. Thanks for the information, the device you use sound interesting and cheap but it need a connection with a laptop computer to run.
I prefer a sand alone device like the Scangauge2. |

Yep,
It is not standalone unit like Scangauge2 In my case do the work that I need: I only need to check the system in real time if something fails and always in long trips I have the laptop with me. If you are interested there is some ones that you can connect to a handheld (CE-windows or Android software needed) via bluetooth at almost the same cost. Bad news
Ligth come up again yesterday night So today I will see if it is the same code and probably next week will be again with the dealers to solve it. All that after change the clutch master cylinder and make the recall the last week. I should love a lot this car Eduardo MY 2007 110 SW PUMA 2.4: Big Fog of 64' MY 1994 Jayco 1207 Folding camper: "El Tremendo" Click image to enlarge |
