Wheel tyre combo looks great. Wheel on bonnet is the cherry on the cake! WARNING.

Thanks all, I'm really pleased with them.
I didn't get any comments that they were difficult to balance and they have minimal weights added, so assume they were OK. There s no sign of any wobble at any speed so have balanced well. How the hell do you lads see over the bonnet? with me been a short arse, the wheel would stop me seeing the end of my front. Still looks good though having it on the front, But again the rear always looks very bare on these with out the wheel. Defender TD5 90 ---/--- Peugeot 306 HDI hatch back

Click image to enlarge [/quote] I like the truck, but to me, it looks like a giant hand should come down from the sky and twiddle that big wheel on the bonnet to steer it. |

They look great!
Excuse the thread hi-jack, is the bonnet reinforced compared with normal to take the weight of the wheel and tyre? BORG - Bucks & Oxon 4x4 Response Group |

Looks great Shaggydog!! I'm quite tempted with light guards, but really want a genuine of the era bull bar! James

See I looked at the bullbar route and concluded that I would rather have a standard style bumper with a winch attached.
Thats still to happen but will mean the spots will need to be raised so I have planned on fitting one of those high level a bars which fits to the bonnet slam plate rather than the bumper.
