It’s a lovely bright sunny day here today, unlike the last two days that have been very gloomy, so I’ve been able to inspect the heating elements more closely and I’ve found a tiny gap in one of the upper thin strips. Presumably it’s been knocked by something. I also took the cover and light fitting off the high level brake light but couldn’t see any damage to the element there. I’ll see if I can locate some of the magic paint here (should be fun explaining that in my sparse Slovene) and make a repair. Fingers crossed.
