Anyone going to the LR show at Stoneleigh tomorrow?
I've got my first ever stand, with the Defender Puma dash controllers and other bits and bobs. If anyone's there come over and say hello and pick up a sticker. Futuranet - Hall 1 Stand G19 I will also have some lovely DISCO3/4 brollies with me, plus stickers, charging adapters and Webasto diagnostic stuff. Sadly as I've got a tiny... stand I don't have any spare tickets to give out 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top 2015 D90 XS SW |

Martin, wish you a good show experience. Obviously I won’t be there to look at what you have on offer, but I can confirm that the new 7 pin adapter arrived in good order here last week.
Eric You never actually own a Defender. You merely look after it for the next generation. http://youtu.be/yVRlSsJwD0o https://youtu.be/vmPr3oTHndg https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_GtzTT9Pdl0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ABqKPz28e6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rLZ49Jce_n0 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XvAsz_ilQYU https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K8tMHiX9lSw https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=dxwjPuHIV7I https://vimeo.com/201482507 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZSixqL0iyHw |

So to those that went, what was it like? was it worth the trip?
months ago I was told its not very big, and can get round it in 20 mins.. that's a short day when travel is 2+ hours for me anyway.. I might come along next year... This year I was at the NEC for the Bike show/stools.. Which wasn't that good anyways... even though I got some nice bits.. Likewise Adam17, I wasn't that impressed either. It was a 2 hour trip each way for me, minimal food vendors there, just a Land Rover Ice Cream truck on the entrance (Ice Cream at the end of November, really?!), and the standard Stoneleigh food court offering.
With the exception of Martin's stand (which I was genuinely interested in as 'something new' - and I'm not just saying that because he's in this thread - I did not know it was his stand at the time), the exhibitors were a small subset of those seen at other Land Rover shows throughout the year. Thankfully the other thread ( https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic64577.html ) provided a link for tickets for £5 which made it slightly more palatable. But like the Donnington show a couple of years ago, I don't think I will return to this one again. For me they only really work if there is something to see (eg. inner track section at the Peterborough show), many vendors present including the big players like Exmoor Trim, or many tool traders and second hand bits. 2005 Td5 90 XS 1989 V8 110 CSW |

As others have said there wasn’t a lot there. We went because we specifically wanted to check out the Paranoid drawer system. Had it not been for that, we wouldn’t have gone.

i managed to get 2 tickets for £7.50 and went in the wifes frugal euro box so the costs were reasonable. I managed to pick up a couple of bits at "show prices", not a great saving but enough to cover the cost of the tickets and fuel. It's called a "show" but there's nothing there apart from retail stands so it's just a Land Rover shopping centre and they've convinced us we should travel miles to get there and pay to get in
