Defender SVX headlight which has sidelights built into main headlight?
Edited to add, has the light got the letter A as light function code as I can not make out all the markings. A = position light, side light, parking light. Brendan |

Googling the SVX it does say they had additional sidelights incorporated into the main headlight.
I don’t know where the Function code would be |

If you look at the approval markings at the bottom of the headlight lens there is the country code E9 in a circle which is the code for Spain. To one side of the country code I can see what appears to be a 4 digit number which will be the actual approval number. On the other side there appears to be either HCR or HC/R which is code for dip and main beam either halogen or LED.
A is code for side light. RL is code for a DRL but I do not think it will be that. Brendan |

It is difficult to photograph and make out all the markings
To the left of the country code E9 for Spain there appears to be A which will be for side light 00 will be for the original amendment of the regulations HC/R will be for dip and main beam 12.5 will be the Peak Beam Reference number E9 Spain 6310 or 8310 is the approval number Have a look at the rear of the headlight unit. It appears to have the main wattage values 55/60 watts and 5 watts. Have a look and see what other markings are on there. Model number etc. Brendan |
