What's This?

Can anyone tell me what this part is? It was lying loose in the back of my 15 plate 90. I've been meaning to ask for some time as it's not been much use as a paperweight.https://www.defender2.net/gallery/albums/userpics/26625/thumb_220401%2Bdef%2Bpart.jpg

It’s a wheel chock 👍 later ones came with them (I think in the battery box) to make it safer when changing a wheel

I figured it was that when I opened up the battery box. Had to cut the perforations to open the fuse box under the driver's seat but nothing interesting in there lol.

Don't have a manual...

I don't think 'bent bit of metal' is in the index!

I didn't know what it was in my first Defender. Found it to be excellent for cutting pie though.

I have 2…
1 is a leaf trap. I left it here overnight once and it happened to catch a load of leaves that were blowing around the driveway, it stays here now and every week over autumn and winter it makes sweeping the leaves easier.
I know. Unbelievable, but true. (I realise it’s April 1st) Laughing

The second one, stops the neighbours crappy fence blowing in the wind and whacking against the garage. It’s been there about 4 years now Rolling with laughter

I would describe it as another sad manifestation of the complete and utter disdain that Landrover had for the classic Defender product line towards the end.

To include a cheap, nasty, and entirely inadequate piece of trash like that and make believe that it is a suitable wheel chock is an insult to the engineers of old who took pride in making Solihull's products great. Big Cry
