They keep on appearing....
There’s no way on earth this is £5,500. Why do they do it. In what way will they scam people with this? Surely nobody would pay up front without seeing the vehicle. Maybe you call and they try to take a “holding deposit “? I’ll give the “seller” a call in the morning. eBay Item No. 283296998434 |

Post moved to an unseen corner!!
I thought this post would be better in the TD5 forum where more people would see it, and maybe be vigilant. |

Post moved to the correct place for the topic, it's not specifically Td5 related.

I have always wondered about this scam as it cost to list the cars and the one time I bothered to look in to the seller he had over 30 vehicle including a few motorhomes and classic's car's one of the cars was a Defender 90 It was pictured at a dealers workshop that I know it even was wearing his spare wheel cover so I phone him thinking it could of been stolen the dealer told me the only thing stolen was the complete listing it was a just copy of his with a change of contact details the 90 was still there ,the only damage was he had had a number of phone calls from buyers who had thought there was a bargain to be had .So how does the scam work ? I always think to understand a scam helps to avoid them.
