Two way rocker switch with illumination
Does such a thing exist? I want to wire up my Labcraft Scenelite S18 such that I have a two way switch on/near dash and one in the rear. That way I can switch on or off from front or rear of the vehicle. However, I would like the switches lit when the light is on and unlit when switched off - is this possible?

The concept is the same as you'd use for a 2 way switch in the house e.g. for the stairs:

The switch type is known as SPDT (Single Pole Double Throw). For your purpose you'll need to find a version which has terminals specifically for the indicator lamp/LED. Or mount the LED/indicator in its own bezel.

Buy the On-Off-On Carling switches from Mud UK. Make sure they are the 10 pin variety. You can utilise Pole set 1 for the actual feed and pole set 2 for the illumination LED with a couple of jumper wires. Thats what I've done for many vehicles I've installed them into. North Cumbria Search and Rescue - Team Leader

Found an illuminated Carling switch which is On-on SPDT which is what I need ( I think).

Will see how the Mud one compares price wise
