I bought a Td5 Discovery for breaking last weekend need to check if it’s a 10 or 15p only 96k on it?

Facelift 2002 onwards had the 15p in the D2’s

Not necessarily true on that alone, there’s also 16p engines too

‘The 10P engines, fitted up 2001, are Euro II compliant and the 15P engines, fitted starting with 2002, are Euro III compliant’ is a general rule of thumb, however, I’m pulling out a 15p and still looking for it’s direct replacment, low milage as possible

Well the pre facelift disco 2 I lifted the engine out of was a 15P, but I sold it the day after it came out, on a pallet to England. Photographic evidence below Click image to enlarge Easiet way to tell is look and see if it has the extra fuel hose that runs along the inside of the inlet manifold. Don’t just look at the fuel cooler as some 15Ps had the tubular style too. Or have the NNN5000120 ECU. |
