Standard 50ths are all Automatics, the 50th didn't come in manual.
If it helps the 1994 & 1995 NAS Defenders are V8 manual, they have a Y Pipe that comes from the manifolds, run underneath the gearbox crossmember and then come together under the transfer case into a flange that bolts to the rear section silencer (they are LHD though). It goes under the cross member.
Must fit cross member first. Check out video below as it shows the area you require

Not sure what system you have at the moment, or if this is any help, but you can make up something that fits from off the shelf bits...
IIRC its: 3.9 cast manifolds RRC Y Pipe 110 TD5 / Puma centre / rear section (can be sourced as take offs cheap on ebay) You need to change one of the centre hangars and possibly fabricate a rear hangar but it all bolts up together. This is what I've got on mine  |

I don't understand your problem....
I have a 110 with v8 and auto. Disco1 or RR Classic V8 cross member with easy modification. I have a 300tdi intermediate pipe and tailpipe on mine |

From what I remember you have to use the Disco / RRC X Member and weld a bit on the bottom to extend the mounts - the defender one is straight, the disco ones are like this:
\____/ the Y pipe fits up in the nooks of the x member |

It is a bit perplexing because at least 2 X members for the discovery have the same part No as the equivalent 110 item.

Good luck on that one...
I got a steel fabricator to weld some plate on each end to mak it square, bolted it in on top bolts, then drilled through holes in lower brackets on chassis and into the cross member, bolts in with plenty of copper slip . All done and on with fitting exhaust |

Available from Land Rover, 262 +vat.
Presumably since the same xmember was used on both NAS models 90/110 and the 50th anniversary then at least some of the chassis manufacturers will make them as well. |
