Socket size
Just fitted new ignition barrel, the shear bolts are similar to a torx shape but external. Any ideas what socket to use to secure and shear.

No problem, from memory they shear at a very low torque anyway
good luck!

I have a Clarke Torx set, https://www.machinemart.co.uk/p/clarke-trx...it-set-29/

You;re not a million miles away - you can borrow if you need.

Bought it a few years back, don;t use it very often, but mighty-handy to have around Thumbs Up Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)
