Right, I have done the rear today, the rear NS (passenger.) was the culprit with the 2 piece ARB to link bushes.
They were getting worn all of them but this particular one was not concentric and on a skew, pretty sure it happened after hitting a pothole in hidden water. Ideal opportunity to swap all of them out as they aren't that expensive. Replaced the chassis strap fixings but re-used the ARB fixings as these were in very good condition. As were the straps after a clean up. Hopefully get on with the front tomorrow. Thanks once again for the WSM details Martin. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |

Done the front today as well, this one being a bit more tricky.
Never needed to remove the links at all, access to the OS drivers side fixings were a pain due to the axle casing. But there is just enough movement in the links articulation to get enough access to get the torque wrench on it keeping the ARB as spare to the link as possible. Then access to the NS is much easier then to follow up with. Also, found it easier when tightening the chassis straps to tighten the side without the bush split in first followed by the side without. It will then pull the split nicely together, something that was not quite so good before. Job done. No Guts, No Glory. 🇬🇧🏴🏴🏴🇮🇪🇺🇸⛽️🛢️⚙️🧰💪 |
