I believe it's the high-low detection switch electrical connector. Plugs into the other white connector hooked on the transfer box in your picture.
The other grey one at the top left had side (looks like it's all connected up ok) is the diff lock switch detection electrical connecton. See page 674 of the Puma 2.4 w/s manual (available on this site if you search for it). Check for yourself before you plug anything in! |

Not unless you never have a cubby box fitted... Or you have lots of time to spare or already need to remove the seat box centre section.
Much quicker to use a garden pressure sprayer from underneath to be honest... Now: 2010 2.4 TDCi 110 Utility Wagon Then: 2004 2.5 TD5 90 Hard Top (X-Tech Edition) |

Could it be for the low range light? See here http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic50869.html

This is normal on a MY2009, see that old post http://www.defender2.net/forum/topic13589.html “A Land Rover immobilized is a moral defeat for the driver and bad publicity for the vehicle, […] it's up to you to do justice to your Land Rover!” - Land Rover Driving Technique.
