The tyres look like Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure
https://www.goodyear.eu/en_gb/consumer/tir...ATADV.html which are available in 15,16 and 17 inch size.
These are different tyres to the pictures in the other thread
https://www.defender2.net/forum/topic68578-15.html
The tyres above look like Goodyear EfficientGrip SUV
https://www.goodyear.eu/en_gb/consumer/tir...IPSU.html. which are available from 17 to 20 inches.
So it looks like that it will have a 17 inch tyre size as this is the only size common to both. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

Good info.
But I'm wondering if some models (depending on engine choice, gross weight etc.) may have larger disks/calipers than say a base 90, so min. wheel size may be larger than 17" on those...

Anything going to be the car for the big reveal i’m sure will get there on a totally enclosed vehicle trailer and not under its own steam or enclosed transporter of the sort that recover broken down Bentley’s and Rolls Royce’s - it will be in something no eyes can see into on a ferry boat probably towed by a non JLR delivery truck / a DHL truck even. For sure it won’t be a curtain sided trailer towed by another Defender Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come
2020 D240 1st Edition in Pangea Green with Acorn interior. Now gone - old faithful, no mechanical issues whatsoever ever but the leaks and rattles all over the place won’t be missed!

Hoping they have learnt from the D5 event with bear grylls, that was a bit cringe for me.

I think the comment that has been tagged on those photos about on its way to Frankfurt mean figuratively speaking. You can clearly see a road sign for Eastnor in one of the pics, they are not driving it there now! 2016 D4 HSE

Had this email as a subscriber for LRO today.

Your subscription copy normally arrives before the on-sale date, but we’ve had to hold the September issue back because of an embargo on one of the features, which we didn’t want to wait a month to bring to you! Your copy should be with you on, or soon after, 7 August. But it’ll be worth the wait – the issue is crammed with great stuff and our most ambitious greenlaning trip to date.

I cant imagine it is a feature on Mrs Beckham driving to Harrods in the new mark 2 Evoque so could we be seeing the new SUV version of the Defender next week.

PS based on my lottery results over the last few years don't hold me to anything...…...

It would be a good sign if they gave LRO a bit of an exclusive, would show that maybe haven’t completely lost grip on their heritage. I spoke to an LRO journalist a year or two ago at length and he told me how LRO used to have a really good relationship with Land Rover, got invited to drive prototypes, flown to launch events etc. Makes sense as they would most likely get pretty positive coverage to an interested audience. However in recent times LR have completely LRO (and the motoring press in general) as not having the right readership for the LR brand Shocked They preferred to court magazines like Vogue, GQ etc. Rolling Eyes 2007 110 TDCi Station Wagon XS

New Land Rover Defender retains 32-inch tyres, testing moves to UAE | PerformanceDrive

https://performancedrive.com.au/new-land-r...-uae-0211/

"Rogers confirms the new Defender will be available with tyre sizes of up to 32 inches, like the predecessor. These large tyres provide a desirable contract patch, making it perfect for serious off-roading. Also, with large tyres available as standard, the legal upgrade possibilities should be appealing for hardcore enthusiasts. The new model will also come with Land Rover’s advanced stability and traction management system, likely an evolution of the current Terrain Response program. Rogers said:

“It sits on tyres with an overall diameter of up to 815mm, resulting in a very large contact patch. Coupled with our bespoke traction control system, which monitors and adjusts for a large variety of terrains, this makes the new Defender fantastic on sand and incredibly smooth on road as well.”" --
