It's odd some people need external validation for their car purchasing decisions. It makes not a jot of difference if the vehicle suits you. |

Well I liked the fact that at the moment they are quite exclusive,
So if you are to be believed it might stay that way But do agree, I don’t understand the validation on a purchase with sales figures, I think if decisions were based on best sellers alone the world would be rather boring. L663 90ht |

I ordered one because I liked it but not in the D240 format. So didn't order and was considering the P360 Discovery. So as soon as they offered the P400 in XS trim I placed an order. I havent driven the P400 either.
So it will be difficult decision when the X545E and P400 turns up at the same time (probably next March) . On paper the X545E wins everytime, apart from the boot space for my dogs ...... plus it allows me to buy a Citroen Ami which is what I'm really looking forward to. So image wise I'm comfortable. |

The x545e isn’t much of a looker though is it?
I currently have a golf gte hybrid, and I honestly can not fault it…. But I’ve never loved it or really enjoyed it… the x5 feels. Like it could be this type of car, but at least you will have the choice, will be interesting to see which you choose. L663 90ht |

It's equally odd that some people spend hours and hours posting made up statistics and nonsensical graphs in order to made some ridiculous point that they (and only they) fervently believe in. You haven't addressed any of my points made earlier about your pointless chart. That speaks volumes. You remind me of this guy. A lone crusader for truth, battling hordes of ignoramuses and slow people who just can't see the light. Oh wait, Aitken was a complete fraud. The words "messiah" and "complex" come to mind. Now, if you don't mind, I'm off to post how about terrible Justin Bieber is on a Justin Bieber forum. I've never heard any of his songs, and have no interest in buying any, but I'm really bored and it's dark here in the basement of my parents' house. |

Happy to address all your points, but first please edit your post to include a working link... otherwise it looks like you are making it all up... Click image to enlarge |

Supacat. As you have these feelings of emptiness, it's important to remember that nobody cares.

Buddy, you can't win that. Besides giving the world Baby, his Comedy Central roast was one of the finest pieces to television in our lifetimes and quickly converts even the most bitter hater into a Belieber. And then there's his wife... All he needs is a Defender and he's living the best life of anyone on the planet. |

I dont find it offensive and as I say "on paper" it wins every time. But it will be interesting. Could have both....ouch |

An X5 might be a sharper thing to drive, but it doesn’t have the breadth of abilities a Defender or Discovery has.

I think it’s time the negativity stopped on here - that’s not what the forum is for. It’s divisive and I’m not hosting a forum for that. 1988 90 Td5 NAS soft top
