so looks like you need a calipwer swap to fit 18" to the P400

"I got so excited I didn’t even bother putting the rest of the Lugnuts on for the photo. Here you have it fellow Defender 2 enthusiast. An 18 inch alloy designed to work with the Lucky8 caliper swap!!! @tuffantparts said they would get it done and Hot Damn they did it! You can now run 18in wheels on your P400 Defeder 2 with out grinding or wheel spacers !" --

I think it's a common practive to over-inflate the spare, because it will lose pressure over time, and you don't want to be replacing a burst tyre, only to find that the spare is flat.

I don't see any reason why the spare would lose air, and certainly not any more or faster than the four tyres which are on the ground. Doesn't everyone check the spare tyre pressure when checking the other tyre pressures?

I can't think of a single valid reason to have the spare at a pressure higher than the highest of the tyres on the ground.

well, IME the spare always loses air, esp if you park outside in the sun.

Also, I have a device that allows me to equalise the pressure between tyres (https://www.indeflate.co.za/), so by having 'extra' air in the spare, I can use that to top up another tyre in an emergency. Thumbs Up --

Curious, I wonder why, I can't say that I have ever found that. The equalising device is a good idea though.

Seems I might have opened a bit of a can of worms on this!
Before retirement I used to leave my cars on the drive for up to 5 months unloved, and static. Just by atmospheric conditions changes the tyre pressures would be significantly changed either way, usually down if I had gone away in June/July and come back frosty December. I never suffered from the dreaded so called “flat spot” that I got dire warnings about If I left the car unused. Usually the only problem I would comeback to was a hard to release electronic parking brake that I couldn’t leave disengaged when I went away as it automatically engaged after a while even if I didn’t touch the switch. Pangea Green D250 90 HSE with Air Suspension, Off-road Pack, Towing Pack, Black Contrast roof , rear recovery eyes, Front bash plate, Classic flaps all round, extended wheel arch kit and a few bits from PowerfulUK Expel Clear Gloss PPF to come

Just off the phone to my local LR. Asked for price for decal and classic mud flaps. Website say £283 for classic mud flaps supplied and fitted, my local LR wants £288 just to fit them. 2 hours labour at £144 per hour. Shocked Also said they cant fit the decal it’s apparently too hard for them Rolling with laughter
So got a price just for them unfitted and now trying to find a garage local to me to fit them.

Yep, I can inflate/deflate two tyres at once, which is very handy when going on/off trails Thumbs Up --

Read the note on the configurator and I think that the price there states “includes VAT and fitting’”
Suggest you take a walk around the showroom and outside display and look to see if they have a demo with the decal on it...... not too hard to fit to their demo car if there is one.

Here you go
Subject to price changes is their disclaimer! Maybe Loomers have decided that they will loose a load of the plastic clips!

Those front ones were priced the same as the rears, then somewhere along the lines they jacked the price up. Watch out with those prices as they seem to honour them only if you haven’t taken delivery of the car. Once you leave the showroom it’s accessory price plus fitting. Cheeky bar stewards!

The bonnet decal doesn’t look to awkward to fit, powerful UK managed it. Though some dealers get a graphics company in to do it.

If the decal is as good quality as the County stripes on my 90 then they will be faded to grey base colour after 25 years ownership and a few snow foam cleanings.

Would like to see powerful UK do a graphic like that, might be tempted to do it on mine.

Does TPMS do anything clever to adjust warning levels depending on tyre temps; or alternatively, if it does not could it be a reason the spare is aired up higher?

I keep my spare at the higher rear wheel pressure. If I need it for the front I just air it down. I have a pen type tyre pressure gauge that I carry with me. It is easier to let air out than to have to pump it up. 1982 88" 2.25 diesel

You have to tilt your phone until the man standing in the background is vertical to compensate for the camera angle.

Still, not bad on road tyres. --

I don't think that that is nearly as impressive as the person who shot it wants it to be. Once you've for corrected the cock-eyed camera (or camera-person), it isn't particularly steep.
