United Kingdom 2007 Defender 90 Puma 2.4 CSW Keswick Green
I watched this yesterday as it came up on my Youtube channel - he's basically saying what many of us agree on re. electronics and customisation, but also intriguing theory re. the D4 red herring.
I guess it could just be a mule D4 body with the new running gear on test, but then why add the lumps & camo to it?
Does the underside look different to that of a D4?

The new Defender is based on a different platform though, isn't it? Same platform as the FFRR, RRS & D5, hence the cut-n-shut RRS mule that was spotted.

The similarity with this mule and the D4 is uncanny though. It must be a D4 under the camo.

Interesting chap but as others when watching the video I thought how do you explain the short wheel base mule then? and also when you search the reg it would come up as a LR4 not just a Landrover 2.0l.

He is obviously experienced and the comments on suspension make sense, I hope Landrover offer a coil option like they did for the Discovery. I also hope it comes with air suspension as standard though for all the advantages it brings to the other 95% of the customers that won't be taking them around the world or modifying them.

The cladding is obviously heavy on the mules but the fundamental shape looks promising especially with the back window indicating it's flat with a swing door. As for customers I think lander are hoping it will pickup the discovery customers it has lost with the discovery 5 being the shambles it is. If it was a modernised D3 I would be very very happy. 110 MY23.5 X Dynamic HSE

I've read it will be on the new MLA platform ~ 1st of many models to migrate to this. Means the vehicle can be ICE, hybrid, plug in or full EV.

Well, there’s nothing to expand on really. That’s a ridiculous rendition and it will look nothing like that. Thumbs Up 2018 RAM Power Wagon (American Muscle)
