Many thanks gents.
Any tips on how to best to splice the socket into the existing loom would be appreciated. Hardly any wire at all sticking above the seat box.. Thanks, Robin |

Click image to enlarge I can supply them with 16 x terminals, as pictured. Or, with just as many as you'd like (you only need 5 terminals). Also, I post them with the terminal locking wings closed, that way they can be posted as a Large Letter, rather than a Small Parcel at 3 x the price . Cut off the old connector, pull the wire back into the underseat fuse box compartment, and crimp-on the new connector inside the compartment. You could also move the mounting bracket from the seatbox, to inside of the compartment. . Paul. 1989 Arles Blue 2.5TD 110 Hardtop 1999 Epsom Green Discovery II 4.0 V8i 'XS' |

As it's being replaced anyway it may be worth putting a different style plug on it with adapter loom for additional security 2002 90 Td5 Station Wagon

I don't have a complete list
What are the Bosch Motronic connectors like, do you have a picture of them The TD5 injector harness connectors are made by ITT Cannon, I've struggled to find them in reasonable quantities. I posted some details, here - http://www.defender2.net/forum/post483196.html#483196 . Paul. 1989 Arles Blue 2.5TD 110 Hardtop 1999 Epsom Green Discovery II 4.0 V8i 'XS' |
