Hello folks
Got the chance of buying a 2015 run out LRD and rule is a one in one out arrangement!
Carefully selected and bought this LRD 6 years ago. I do about 1.5-2k miles in a year pootling around down in Devon and a small shoot at home. Heating controls fully work. Both alarm fobs work. No ABS or A/C or electric windows or central locking to worry about with cheap(ish) road tax. High/low and locking diffs gearbox options all work.
Land Rover Defender County 90 TD5 CSW, tornado alloy wheels with Conti Cross Contact ATs (fitted 400 miles ago).
Colour: Oslo (dark) metallic blue with grey cloth with middle seat in lieu of cubby box. Fitted carpets with rubber over mats. LR sunroof. Underneath waxoiled in 2011 and again spring 2013. LR sidestep/bars (old and rusty bought 2014) not fitted. Non OEM A bar and spots (not fitted). Used middle tray available (not fitted).
Registered date: 31/07/2000. Current mileage: 97,500. Road tax is £240-250 pa I think.

Known issues: generally very clean and tidy, but this is an 18 year car! My mechanic who look after it recons it is the best one he sees. Small dents in front wings and doors. Some paint has blistered under final lacquer on roof. A strut to hold rear os quarter panel is missing. Slightly sagging headlining in rear. Couple of very old chips in windscreen (passes MOT). Windscreen rubber slightly perished. Mirror in ns door mirror cracked. Water ingresses via passenger door (they all leak somewhere!). You can see there was a bit of a service gap from 2007-2011. I understand it was serviced and looked after, but records could not be located. Most of above was prior to my ownership and imho adds to the patina.
Things I would do: really good/deep steam clean/scrape about and dinitrol (Devon 4x4 charge about £300-400 for this), sort missing strut.
As you can see from above, this is one pampered pooch, but no garage queen. No amount of hoovering gets all the muck out, but it is a great vehicle. Pictures are on my profile page I think, but happy to take more and post (somehow). All the paperwork, invoices etc will be included.
