Dual charge

Got a dual charge system . If I run work lights off the aux batt can I connect to the aux batt Pos terminal only !!! , and leave the earth on the main battery .
I will get another fused terminal block , But do I need to get a neg terminal block also .

Reason is I can only find the Blue sea Pos blocks .

You'll need to connect the two battery neg. terminals together with a suitably sized cable. Darren

Hi yes I've done that all batteries connected properly dual charge working .

What I meant to say was the rear work light wired to the main battery . Both pos and neg .
Can i disconnect the Pos wire from the main and connect to the Aux battery . And leave the neg earth connected to the main battery .
Or will this confuse the dual charge system etc .

My thinking earth is earth and had I of earthed at the rear and not taken the earth back to the battery box , I would only be connecting the live to the Aux batt anyway .

Thanks I just was not sure about dual charging systems . As soon as I can find another Blue sea ST terminal I will fit one to each batt , spots to main , rear work lights etc to aux .

Again thanks , reassurance is always good .
