Direct 4x4 stainless side steps - anyone got them?
Mine are starting to rust. Was going to get them blasted, galvanised and coated but then found these online. Anyone got any experience of these? They seem cheap for the money. They are SUS201 stainless, so not 304 or 316 ‘c but has to be better than mild doesn’t it?!

Edited post:

I have these as link below, fitted them about 7 months ago, no problems yet, but I did still squirt them inside with dinitrol. Not cheap though. Managed to get them a bit cheaper when they had a sale on if I remember correctly.

It does. If you read the spec it quotes “ Made with heavy-duty SUS201 black powder-coated stainless steel”. Seems a bit cheap, hence the question!!

Yeah, sorry I looked back and realised that and edited my post. Embarassed
But you had already replied. They do seem cheap though, but can’t be any worse than the original Land River ones can they?

These look quite good as well:

That’s my thoughts. I’ve got genuine ones and they have been on for a couple of years and have rusted like hell! These are loads cheaper so as long as they last 2 years I’m still better off!!
