Hi all,
Planning a trip to morocco where being able to sleep in the back would be a nice option. I’ve seen a few systems on the internet (for WAY too much money) that offer a removable setup. Has anyone created a setup DIY? Any tips to share? I’m happy to head down to B&Q with a bunch of measurements but would be keen to see if anyone has made anything successfully already. I think it’d Be good to have the load area “base” at the same height as the folded down middle row seats to create a longer bed length (as in the attached pic) Click image to enlarge Any thoughts or chat appreciated as always [/quote] Cheers, David Land Rovers of all shapes S3 onwards… Daily is a 110 V8. |

Have you tried the search facility, there has been a few sleeper threads.
Is it just for one or two people? I always wonder what you do with all the luggage when sleeping in the back? This is how I levelled out the back of my 90.
Click image to enlarge Click image to enlarge With the bulkhead lowered and the front seats folded down (steering wheel is also on a quick release which helps with the drivers seat ) I was able to flit a double air mattress in there which was surprisingly comfortable.... until it developed a leak half way through the night, then I was left sleeping with the bulkhead jamming into my ribs and absolutely freezing. Next time I'm going to try and find some foam padding and use that rather than the air mattress |

I've build a platform in the back of my 110, but it's a hardtop so much easier.
It's all made out of 1/2" ply and aluminium channel, it's 3/4" channel with 1/8th walls so the ply just slots inside. |
