On aircooled Vw forums the rule of thumb is photograph it if possible if it’s on a trailer or low loader and post the pic with both number plates showing and type the plates in the posts so Google’s crawlers can pic them up. 99 out of 100 will be broken down but the picture could lead to a stolen being recovered.
