P&P (Protection and performance) do some nice cages. I've got an SD cage on mine but looked at the P&P option a while ago.

Thx. The roll cage proved itself at 1 overhanging tree. Next issue is fitting a tembo hardtop under the cage.

Check with your local Terrafirma stockist. If the SD cage is available centrally then you may get it within days.
P&P will have to build from scratch so will take longer. At the time I ordered my cage from Keith Gotts on the Tuesday and collected it on the Friday. Between myself and my brother we fitted it in three days (90 HT). Good luck |

I had an Ifor canopy. Think AFN would be just the same for me. If you have to transport longer pieces once in a while it's a pain. Actually. Thinking about removing the normal canopy as well for that reason.

As in, does it leak, rattle, what's the build quality like? Would you buy another? Cheers James 110 2012 XS Utility 130 2011 M57 bespoke Camper 90 2010 Hardtop 90 M57 1988 Hardtop |

When I bought the AFN, it was in terrible condition. Re-sprayed, re-sealed and re-fitted the doors now. Everything looks fine.
The fitting is no problem, just the usual issues with Defender : everything is a few mm too short, too long, not square...... At the end it looks fine, it is waterproof and it is bomb-proof. Next I will start organizing the interior. Pictures later |
