It's not particularly difficult,especially with a trim removal tool for the fir tree fixings. It's necessary to release the side trim panels to give enough clearance to prise the roof panel out from the internal 'gutter' but it's all just a handful of fixings.

It's definitely worth the effort, though. Silentcoat and 6mm foam has transformed the inside of mine:

The side panel will be available with out hole very soon and with 2 additional light switches to enable you to utilise them easier than the round hole.
