Last time I had alloys refurbished (on bare rims) it was £200 for the full set of 5. Defender "Puma" 2.4 110 County Utility (possibly the last of the 2.4's)

I'm hoping to find something at about £200. I think the issue with the "Dual Finish" was exactly that - two tone alloy.
Maybe i should just powder coat them black |

Morning Jim_Bean
That sounds a good price, because they are polished then lacquered to get the finish back they'll need to be skimmed and re-lacquered to protect them. We've had that happen at work before and it was cheaper to get all 4 powder coated or painted. We used a wheel repair specialist in Exeter for quite heavy damage but it depends how far up the rim they are, if it's just on the rim we use a chap that does BMW rims because we all know they can't park Good luck Life is one big adventure, that's why we have the vehicle for the journey. |

Sounds like its going to be an expensive lesson
I actually wanted Anthracite ZUs so maybe i'll powder coat them black and sell them on. Note to self - use 2nd set of steel wheels for off roading! |

I've not seen any black SVX wheels before. Not sure what they would look like.
I liked the Dual Finish, bit gutted that i've scratched them really. |

Just hunting around the interweb to try and find some photos of black SVX wheels.
No joy yet. They don't seem to be very common! |
