On the splines once I got it off I just wiped away the old grease and then put some new stuff in. But should all be ready to go back on the car tomorrow! Instagram - @Land_Rover_Defender

Rear propshaft is too, certainly on TDCi 110 and 130 wb (I imagine 90 too).

Best bit of advice missing is clean the caps and circlips with a wire brush on a die grinder (stick it in a drill if you don’t have one) makes it much easier to get the clips and cups out. Spend a bit of time and clean the circlip grooves with a pick of something Thumbs Up

Lucas Red n’ Tacky is my favourite grease and it’s well priced, try it - Super sticky Bow down

I think every Defender should have come with a grease gun in the tool kit like the series before them!
