Should have said it is going on an 06 plate 90 td5. There appears to be threads behind all 6 holes in the rear cross member at the moment.

Hi Landy nut
I wondered the same when i did the same to my 90 (2002 TD5). But chose to make my own spreader plate. (You can get them from a main dealer). The reason i did not was that you or a friend may cut themselves on the edges of the 'U shape' spreader plate whilst setting up for a recovery. I did not try it but it may restrict the rotation of the NATO hitch. Hope that helps you Cheers Mark |
